From his stunning work with Porsche, to his countless publications on Super Street, Alec is one of the most active and consistent visual artists in the modern car scene, and I’m happy to announce him as the first artist to showcase in our virtual exhibition space. Residing in Atlanta, Georgia with a concentration in the commercial automotive context. With a focus in the digital photography, Alec’s pieces highlight classic and modified automobiles juxtaposed against the scenes of urban landscapes, whilst maintaining qualities of commercial-standard.

Emanuel Colombini has turned his passion for Lamborghinis into a premium automotive brand. Through the designated engineering direction of design firm BorromeodeSilva, his company Eccentrica has entered hypercar territory with what will be a 1 of 16 RestoMod interpretation of the legendary Lamborghini Diablo. Ultimately Colombini aimed to modernize and innovate a 90s supercar, while still maintaining its unique identity.

BMW has recently announced a new collaboration with New York-based artist, Julie Mehretu. The news broke at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City at the end of June. Mehretu will be applying her talents to creating the 20th BMW Art Car; an M Hybrid V8. Chosen by a diverse group of museum directors and curators, Mehretu has been granted full creative control to develop the theme for the car, which will enter the 24-Hour race of Le Mans in June 2024. The now 50-year old tradition of BMW art-car creation has reinforced the seamless connection between art and motorsport-technology.

Jake Auerbach, Tom Hale, and Benjamin Tarlow are the founders of Morton Street Partners, a curatorial project with an ear to the worlds of contemporary art and collectible cars. Since the opening of their gallery in the West Village, New York in March 2022, they’ve hosted a number of compelling exhibitions highlighting the parallels within the art and automotive spaces. Their most recent exhibition of Porsche 911 assembly presents a portion of the car-production process as an artform, featuring the work of Greg Anagnostopoulos and Daniel Arsham.
